    Approval of funding by the state of Brandenburg

    The state of Brandenburg approves € 20 m for renovation of the existing buildings as historical monuments. A further € 10 m is promised from private donors.

    Approval of funding for the renovation of the roofs

    The national and federal state level governments approve € 4.5 m for the renovation of the roofs, from the historical monuments fund for nationally significant cultural monuments.

    The German Federal Parliament Budget Committee approves funding of € 30 m for the renovation of the existing buildings as historical monuments.

    An architectural master plan for the renovation of the existing buildings and for additional new buildings is completed.

    Approval of national funding for roof renovation

    € 450,000 in national funding from the special fund XI for the protection of historical monuments is approved for the first stage of the renovation of the roofs.

    The Robert Bosch Foundation and the Karl Schlecht Foundation give their support to a workshop series on “Schools for the Day after Tomorrow.”

    Nationally significant cultural monument

    Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media Prof. Monika Grütters awards the school ensemble the status of a “nationally significant cultural monument.”
