General and mandatory information

Notice concerning the party responsible for this website

The party responsible for processing data on this website is:

Stiftung Gebäudeensemble Joachimsthalsches Gymnasium Templin
Stine Peisl, managing director
Prenzlauer Allee 28
17268 Templin, Germany

The responsible party alone decides on the purposes and means of processing personal data (names, email addresses, etc.).

We take the protection of your data very seriously and treat your personal data as confidential and in accordance with the statutory provisions on data protection. Since the continuous development of this website may result in changes to this data protection declaration, we recommend that you read it at regular intervals.

Definitions of the terms used can be found in Article 4 of the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Handling of contact data
If you contact us as a website operator through the contact options offered, your data will be stored so that they can be used to process and answer your enquiry. These data will not be passed on to third parties without your consent.

Vimeo

Our website uses plug-ins from Vimeo to integrate and display video content. The operator of the video portal is Vimeo Inc, 555 West 18th Street, New York, NY 10011, USA.

When a page with an integrated Vimeo plug-in is called up, a connection to the Vimeo servers is established. This tells Vimeo which of our pages you have accessed. Vimeo learns your IP address even if you are not logged in to the video portal or do not have an account there. The information collected by Vimeo is transmitted to servers of the video portal in the USA.

Vimeo can assign your browsing behaviour directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out beforehand.

For more information about how Vimeo handles user data, see Vimeo’s privacy policy at https://vimeo.com/privacy.

Use of Google Maps
This website uses Google Maps API to visualise geographical data. When visitors use Google Maps, Google collects, processes and uses data about their use of the map functions. You can find more information about data processing by Google in Google’s privacy policy. You can also adapt your personal privacy settings in Google’s privacy centre.

RIGHTS OF USERS

Withdrawing your consent to data processing

Some data processing procedures are only possible with your express consent. You may revoke consent you have given at any time. An informal notification by email is sufficient for the revocation. The legality of the data processing carried out up until the point of revocation remains unaffected by the revocation of consent.

Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

If your data protection rights are breached, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. The competent supervisory authority for data protection matters is the data protection commissioner of the German federal state in which our association is domiciled. A list of the data protection officers and their contact details can be found at: bfdi.bund.de

Right to data portability

You have the right to have the data which we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfilment of a contract handed over to you or to third parties. The data will be provided in a machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another responsible party, this will only be done as far as it is technically feasible.

Right to access, rectification, restriction of processing, and erasure

Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have, at any time, the right to request at no cost information about any personal data we have retained about you, including its origin, its recipients and the purpose of its collection. You also have the right to request that it be corrected, blocked or deleted. You can contact us at any time using the contact options provided in the imprint if you have any questions about such rights or other questions about our privacy policy.

Changes to our data protection policy
We reserve the right to revise this data protection policy to ensure it meets the current legal requirements or to incorporate changes to our services, e.g. when introducing new services. The new data protection policy then applies to your renewed visit.
