Europe and the est

The European idea bears the hope for a peaceful future. Europe and peace are thus the guiding themes at the est. They are reflected in our unique curriculum, in the architecture of the school, and in our community. Using future-looking formats and spaces for learning, students get to know their European heritage, shape the future of Europe, and work for peace.

The students at the est come from the region around the school and from the whole of Europe, learning together in the school and the boarding school. They form a strong community in which students support each other and are there for each other when needed.

The est will also be an education and science campus where academics, scholars, and practitioners can share their ideas on various aspects of the future of education and of Europe.
